When does Journey Students meet?
Journey Students meet at their specific campus locations on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
Do volunteers have a background check?
The safety of our students always comes first in our ministry, therefore, all of our leaders are interviewed and background checked before participating in our ministry.
What can my child expect to do at Journey Students?
Your child can expect an element of fun, creative bible teaching, corporate worship, and community building through groups.
Do I have to be a Christian to attend?
We believe that before you behave, before you believe, you belong here. It does not matter what you believe or the hurt that you are carrying. We desire for Journey Students to be a place of safety and love for you.
Who is teaching my child?
We have an incredible team of trained leaders who are skilled in teaching students about Jesus and helping them process the doubts and questions they may have.
Can I stay with my child at Journey Students?
We do allow parents to attend our Journey Students Service once to get a feel for what we do, but after that, your student must attend by themselves.
How does Journey Students Function?
- On the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, we have Journey Students Service that consists of 1) an element of fun, 2) creative bible teaching, 3) corporate worship, and 4) community building through small groups.
- On the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, we have a Group Night that focuses primarily on building community. That community is separated out by grade and gender (male and female). Those nights consist of 1) an element of fun, 2) a devotional video, and 3) engaging group questions for community and dialogue.
